The Emerald Station project is officially open and ready to be used here in Springfield, Jacksonville – a newly renovated warehouse office space for professionals, innovators, business startups, wedding planners and more.
Just last week, Phoenix Arts & Innovation District – the developers – celebrated the opening of the new 17,000-square-foot event and office space that spans over 8.3 acres.
The ribbon cutting of this new development took place on October 30, 2024 in which Phoenix embraced their first renovation of a 100-year-old warehouse.
Thoughtfully, the historical structure and character of the building have been preserved while creating a new and inviting modern atmosphere.
With the recent opening of Emerald Station, working professionals will now be able to lease out office space and enjoy amenities such as, “a beautifully designed shared kitchen,” which is perfect for hosting employees and client within the building.
“The space also includes showers and fully-equipped conference rooms,” according to the website.
“I’ve been in Florida for a long time, traveled all over the world,” Cho, CEO and founder of Cho Ventures, said according to News4Jax.
“In 2019, I had the privilege to come to Jacksonville to start poking around and exploring if there were places to bring our regenerative placemaking practice on the road and in fact, it did. It didn’t pan out that way. And we’ve made a big bet on Jacksonville, and I think we’ve made a good bet.”
The space is also designed for the ability to host workshops, seminars and events – all designed to promote collaboration and creativity. The versatility of the designed spaces have been created to be of use for anyone in need. With several office layouts, floating desks and more, entrepreneurs and innovators are the perfect market for making dreams a reality.
Emerald Station was also designed to be used as a wedding venue, which spans to over 10,000-square feet, and could host all the way up to 500 people.
“Once complete, all of these projects [including the Pearl Street District project] along with many others will help Jacksonville’s urban core be the place to live, work and play in Northeast Florida and beyond,” Mayor Donna Deegan said in the Jax Daily Record.
Don’t miss your chance on pre-leasing at Emerald Station which starts around $450 a month.
