Marriott Jacksonville Downtown
The Marriott Jacksonville Downtown applied for a $6 million permit in order to execute a 13 floor renovation. The hotel became a Marriott in April 2022.
Previously, the building was the Omni Jacksonville Hotel. It sold in February 2021 for $35.1 million.
Bank of America’s Southside Campus
The city of Jacksonville is reviewing two permits totaling $19.32 million for interior renovations at Bank of America’s Southside campus.
The building on Southside Blvd, near The Avenues, was purchased in 2017 for $73.15 million. Since 2021, there have been substantial renovations taking place, and it looks like many more still to come.
V Pizza
A third V Pizza location is coming to St. Johns County. Currently, V Pizza has two established locations on U.S. 1, near the airport, and in Palm Valley.
A new V Pizza location intended for Durbin Crossing on Longleaf Pine Parkway was unanimously approved by the planned zoning agency.
Next, on October 1st, the proposed construction of an 8,000-square-foot restaurant with an outdoor patio and bar will go to the County Commission for a binding vote.
Serenata Beach Club
The Serenata Beach Club, located on S. Ponte Vedra Blvd., sold at a foreclosure auction on September 12th. DLP Capital Fund purchased the club for $1.5 million.
The Jacksonville Business Journal reported:
“DLP Capital, a lending firm that’s financing the Gateway Jax development in downtown, held a lien for $11.6 million, an amount that’s accrued interest and late fees from its initial $8.6 million. ”
